Create an Account
As an admitting facility or post acute organization, you and your team can create your own accounts by following the steps below:
- Go to https://my.patientping.com
- Click the create an account link, enter your information, and click register
- Check your email for the confirmation email from Bamboo
- Click the account activation link, create your security question and password, and click activate my account

Activate My Account
Upon account creation, you will receive an email from support@bamboohealth.com with the subject line Activate your NEW Bamboo Health account. See the steps below to activate your account:
- Click activate my account within the email
- Set up a security question and answer
- Create a password to your account
If you experience any issues with your activation link, please contact us by clicking the submit a ticket button at the top of this screen so we can make the appropriate changes for you.
Please note that this help center requires a sign in, and that your sign in is different from your application login. For more information see the following How-To article: How to use the Spotlights Help Center
Update My Access
If you need access to multiple admitting facilities or groups, please reach out to your Regional Team to let them know to obtain the necessary approval from your organization’s account administrator.
Who Needs Access to Bamboo?
Users typically include:
- Admissions team such as the Admissions Director, Admissions Coordinator etc.
- Discharge or care transitions team such as Social Workers, Discharge Coordinators
- Administrator or Executive Director
- Director of Nursing
- Any additional staff who can benefit from the information included in Bamboo
It is best practice to have at least one or two team members set up with accounts who can provide backup support for times when a primary Bamboo user is out of the office.
There is no limit on the number of user accounts that can be set up for your organization.
